In a celebratory atmosphere, Sharjah Airport has begun receiving the first batches of pilgrims returning to the UAE after performing the Hajj rituals in Saudi Arabia.

The airport employees are working to assist the pilgrims in quickly completing their arrival procedures at the airport and enhancing their comfort.

Sharjah Airport staff welcomed the pilgrims warmly, expressing their safe arrival to the UAE by offering flowers and Arabian hospitality amidst an atmosphere of intimacy.

Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), along with all its strategic partners, is striving to utilise its capabilities to achieve maximum efficiency and facilitate the arrival of pilgrims to the airport.

The pilgrims expressed their great satisfaction with the warm welcome and excellent reception they received, in addition to the exceptional services and facilities provided to ensure their safety and ease their pilgrimage journey.

Separately, the Dubai Police General Command received its Hajj delegation at Dubai International Airport after its return to the homeland following the completion of the Hajj in the Holy Lands.

The mission was received by Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Administration of Community Happiness, First Lieutenant Ahmed Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Head of the Islamic Affairs and Tolerance Department in the Security Awareness Department of the General Administration of Community Happiness, and a number of officers and employees.

Brigadier Al Mansouri congratulated the pilgrims of the Dubai Police Mission on completing the Hajj pilgrimage and returning safely to the homeland, stressing that the Dubai Police General Command under the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief, its employees pay great attention, especially in religious aspects that have a great impact in consolidating noble Islamic values, and therefore it is keen to launch Hajj missions alongside Umrah missions.

The same applies to the efforts made to provide all means of comfort for Dubai Police pilgrims, and implementation of all administrative procedures to facilitate their performance of the religious duty.

First Lieutenant Ahmed Khalifa Al Mazrouei confirmed that the Hajj Mission initiative falls within a number of great initiatives offered by the Dubai Police General Command to make its employees happy, which have a tangible impact on the employee’s values and behaviour, in addition to the “Umrah Trip” initiative, all of which aim to strengthen religious faith and make employees happy, by enabling them to visit the holy sites in the Land of the Two Holy Mosques.
