Sharjah Airport welcomed over 3.8 million passengers in Q1 of 2023, recording a 28.01% increase over the same period in 2022, HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, revealed.
Sharjah Airport is expected to witness higher footfall growth due to notable passenger services. The aircraft movement also increased by 9.02%, with 23,261 flights by the end of March, compared to 21,336 flights in the same period last year.

It further solidifies Sharjah Airport’s position as a global destination. We are inching to elevate Sharjah Airport to the top five regional airports and boost its competitiveness globally.”
