The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) is taking part in the seventh Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2024), organised by the Sharjah FDI Office, “Invest in Sharjah.”
The forum, focused on a futuristic vision for smart economies, offers interactive sessions and workshops featuring global decision-makers, government officials, executives, investors, and business leaders. It presents an opportunity to inform investors about the future of business in Sharjah and the services available to entrepreneurs.
SEDD is showcasing its services and facilities for investors and participating in various discussions, including those with speakers from the department and the Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects, “Ruwad.”
Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of SEDD, highlighted the forum’s significance as a platform for economic and investment dialogue. He highlighted the opportunity for direct meetings between investors, government representatives, and specialised institutions, which will drive economic growth in the emirate.
Al Mahmoud reiterated the department’s commitment to innovation and solutions that boost the local economy’s competitiveness. He added that SEDD’s efforts to activate economic sectors have attracted local and international investments.
The department organised a session titled “Sustainability Drivers,” which focused on industry support, national workforce development, and the integration of artificial intelligence in entrepreneurship.
