Veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik has announced that he will be leaving Karachi Kings ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10. The 42-year-old cricketer confirmed the end of his four-season association with the team on X (formerly Twitter).

In his farewell message, Malik thanked the Karachi Kings management and teammates, describing his time with the team as a “great experience.”

Malik expressed his gratitude for the support he received during his two separate stints with the franchise. He also wished the team all the best for the future.

While bidding farewell to the Karachi Kings, Malik mentioned that he was looking forward to being part of the PSL Draft for the first time and to the exciting new season ahead.

Over the years, Shoaib Malik has become a key figure in the PSL, representing three different franchises: Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi.

He has earned a reputation as one of the most experienced and respected players in the league, contributing both with the bat and ball. Malik’s leadership skills and all-round abilities have made him a valuable asset for every team he has played for in the PSL.

His decision to leave Karachi Kings marks the end of an era for the franchise, and while his departure might be a loss for the team, fans and fellow cricketers are excited to see what the future holds for Shoaib Malik in the upcoming season of the PSL.
