Small businesses for women: Minister, SMB team discuss revolving fund

KARACHI: A two-member delegation from Sindh Microfinance Bank (SMB) held a meeting with Sindh Minister for Women Development, Shahina Sher Ali, in her office on Wednesday, to discuss in detail the launch of the revolving fund scheme to promote small businesses for women.

The meeting also deliberated on various aspects of easy loans and financial assistance for women’s economic empowerment.

SMB’s delegation included the bank’s Operations Head Muhammad Fahad Saif Khan and HR Head Ms.Sanam Sheikh. Secretary of Department of Women Development Rashid Ahmed Zardari and Additional Secretary Abdul Hafeez Chana also attended.

It was emphasised that the mutual cooperation be increased to make the Revolving Fund Scheme effective and sustainable.
