While talking to the media in Sialkot, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif praised the courage and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He said their bravery will be remembered forever and written in golden words in the history books.

He welcomed the President’s approval of the appointment of the Army Chief and added that the military has always succeeded on every front. Right now, the main fight is against terrorism.

He also appreciated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for leading the country during tough times. Khawaja Asif said that the government fully supports the armed forces and stands with them in every situation. He highlighted the need to teach the younger generation about Pakistan’s history and the sacrifices made for the country.

Speaking about India, he said that if India shows aggression again, Pakistan will give an even stronger response. He revealed that during one incident, ten Indian fighter jets were within Pakistan’s target range. This, he said, shows that Pakistan’s forces are alert and always ready to defend the country.

He ended his statement by saying that Pakistan is a strong and proud nation, and its military is fully prepared to face any threat at any time.
