His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, responded to a proposal by an Emirati named Yousef Al Naqbi on the Direct Line Programme. The man proposed that a marina be established for boats on the Khorfakkan Corniche to serve boat owners.
Mohammed Khalaf conveyed the caller’s response to Sheikh Sultan, who was pleased with the proposal and the place suggested for the marina to be established on.
Sheikh Sultan also has directed an Emirati woman’s land to be replaced with a suitable land ready for construction.
Sheikh Sultan said so in response to a female caller to the Direct Line programme with Mohammed Khalaf, Director General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
Eng. Khaled Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Housing, said HH Sheikh Sultan listened to the caller Umm Mohammed, who complained about the long period of time required for her land to be replaced, adding that Sheikh Sultan directed that the caller’s request be fulfilled as soon as possible.
Sheikh Sultan also responded immediately to a female caller nicknamed Umm Saif who was complaining that her medicine was only available in Germany and she hoped that the medicine would be provided to her.
Sheikh Sultan’s response was immediate and was conveyed to the caller by Mohammed Khalaf saying: “Sheikh Sultan sends his regards to you and tells you that he himself will have the medicine brought to you.”
Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority, said that upon hearing the caller’s complaint, Sheikh Sultan directed that the required medicine be provided to her.
“Her medicine is available at the University Hospital but it is made in Canada. Therefore, we will seek to provide a similar medicine produced in Germany specifically upon the caller’s request,” he added.
In another response on Monday to a female caller, Umm Rashid, Sheikh Sultan instructed the General Directorate of Amiri Guard to go to the caller’s residence and solve her disturbance-related problem most urgently.
