Temperatures in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are expected to drop even further in the coming days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

On Sunday, both cities already recorded a low of 5°C, and the nights are likely to become even colder as the cold wave continues to strengthen. People in the twin cities are preparing for chilly weather, especially during late-night and early-morning hours.

Winter foods such as soup, fish, and dry fruits are seeing higher demand, but many traditional stalls are receiving fewer customers because prices have gone up. Residents are being advised to stay warm and take extra care during the cold spell.
