WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he has American buyers lined up for TikTok and that he could further extend the deadline for China-based ByteDance to divest the app’s U.S. assets, adding that he did not have privacy or security concerns.

TikTok will go dark in US without Chinese approval of sale deal: Lutnick

Trump, speaking to reporters, said he had not talked to Chinese President Xi Jinping about the short video app yet but would at the right time.
