Former US President Donald Trump hosted an iftar dinner at the White House, where he thanked Muslim Americans for their support in the 2024 election. He acknowledged their role in the election results and sent warm wishes for the holy month of Ramadan.

During the event, Trump reassured the Muslim community of his administration’s commitment to their well-being. He spoke about his efforts to promote peace in the Middle East, mentioning ongoing diplomatic efforts such as the Abraham Accords. These agreements aim to strengthen relationships between different countries and encourage stability in the region.

The iftar dinner took place in the State Dining Room and was attended by Muslim leaders and community members from across the country. Trump emphasized the importance of continued engagement and cooperation with the Muslim community. He highlighted their contributions to the country and recognized the significance of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

The event provided an opportunity for discussion on various issues affecting Muslim Americans and ways to foster stronger relationships between communities. Trump assured attendees that his administration remained open to dialogue and collaboration.

By hosting the iftar, Trump aimed to show appreciation for the Muslim community’s role in American society and encourage unity among different faiths and cultures.
