Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, has emphasised the increasing risk of escalation in the region, and highlighted the potential of the two-state solution as a means of halting the ongoing crises in Gaza and Lebanon.
Gargash stated via the X-platform that the region is currently experiencing a perilous phase, with tensions escalating uncontrollably and posing a significant risk of further violence and chaos, as well as a potential loss of more lives.
He also asserted that the solution to this crisis begins with the cessation of hostilities in Gaza and Lebanon, emphasising the necessity for de-escalation and dialogue that is free from extremist rhetoric.
Furthermore, he underscored that the two-state solution remains a pivotal element in preventing the recurrence of crises and paving the way for a brighter future.
