Good news for Pakistan’s diplomatic and official passport holders they no longer need a visa to enter UAE.

The decision came after recent discussions between Pakistan and the UAE. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, met Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, in Abu Dhabi last month. Both leaders agreed to make travel easier for government officials and diplomats by scrapping visa requirements for special passport holders.

A formal agreement was signed to make this arrangement official. As promised, the UAE has now put this visa-free travel plan into action. From July 25, 2025, Pakistani diplomatic and official passport holders can visit the UAE without applying for a visa beforehand.

In return, Pakistan will also offer the same visa-free access to UAE citizens at all airports in the country. This move is expected to strengthen ties between the two countries and make official travel smoother and faster.

This visa waiver is another step toward closer cooperation and stronger connections between Pakistan and the UAE a positive sign for future partnerships.
