Various areas of the UAE will be affected, from Monday until Wednesday, by dust stirring winds whose speed will reach 40 kilometres/h, due to the country being affected by a surface depression extending from the east, accompanied by a weak depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
NCM indicated that Monday’s weather would be partly cloudy with low clouds appearing on the eastern coast, with dust raised in some areas, and humid at night and on Tuesday morning in some western coastal areas with the possibility of light fog formation.
Winds on Monday, according to NCM, will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, especially to the east, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h. The sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, and light to moderate, and may be turbulent at times at night in the Sea of Oman.
The weather on Tuesday and Wednesday will be clear to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds appearing on the eastern coast, NCM reported, adding that winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate and active at times, with a speed ranging between 10 to 25 up to 40 kilometres/h, stirring dust, and the sea will be moderate to light in the Arabian Gulf, light to moderate and may be turbulent sometimes in the morning in the Sea of Oman.
