The duo ‘competed’ in sports such as fencing, surfing, weight lifting, badminton, and speed walking.
You probably know by now that the 2024 Olympic Games are currently taking place in Paris, France; however, on Saturday Mark Zuckerberg released a video on his Instagram of UFC Light Heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and himself competing in various Olympic sports.
They “competed” in sports such as fencing, surfing, weight lifting, badminton, and speed walking.
Meta CEO recently took a lighthearted approach to training with UFC champion Alex Pereira, sharing a humorous video that showcased the duo’s unexpected athletic endeavours.
The unique encounter began backstage at UFC 300, where Zuckerberg and Pereira agreed to train together once Zuckerberg had recovered from ACL surgery.
Four months later, Zuckerberg delivered on that promise, releasing a video that captured their training session. Instead of the intense mixed martial arts (MMA) training one might expect, the video showed Zuckerberg and Pereira competing in various Olympic events.
Fans were treated to scenes of the pair engaging in activities like fencing, surfing, and even synchronized swimming, highlighting the playful spirit of the session.
The video, while providing plenty of laughs and entertainment, has left many wondering if Pereira will eventually assist Zuckerberg with more serious MMA training should the tech mogul decide to step into the Octagon.
