Al Ain Court of First Instance obligated a woman to pay Dhs20,000 in compensation to another woman, as the first broke into her house and beat her, for which she had been convicted with a criminal verdict.
The details date back to the time when a woman filed a lawsuit against another in which she requested that she be obligated to pay her Dhs100,000 in compensation for the material and moral damages she incurred, in addition to the fees and expenses of the lawsuit and the lawyer’s fees.
The plaintiff said that the appellee broke into her residence and beat her, and that she was convicted of that in a criminal case which was confirmed in another lawsuit through appeal.
The plaintiff added that what the appellee committed caused her many damages.
The court explained that the appellee’s mistake was proved, and it resulted in harms to the plaintiff, which included physical damage according to the criminal ruling, in addition to psychological pain, and then the court obligated the appellee to pay a compensation of Dhs20,000 to the plaintiff.
