Today, across Pakistan, Youm-e-Ashur is being observed with deep reverence, honoring the immense sacrifice made by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his devoted companions in Karbala.

Throughout the country, people participate in mourning processions held in cities and towns, expressing their grief and respect for the martyrs. These processions are marked by a somber and reflective atmosphere, as participants remember the tragic events of Karbala.

To ensure everyone’s safety, authorities have put in place extensive security measures. These include increased police presence, road closures, and checkpoints to monitor and manage the crowds. The goal is to prevent any incidents and allow the processions to proceed peacefully.

In addition to the processions, many people attend special gatherings, known as majalis, where scholars recount the events of Karbala and emphasize the lessons of sacrifice and steadfastness. These gatherings provide an opportunity for reflection and community solidarity.
