HOROSCOPES

Your generosity of spirit is such that you would do almost anything for almost anyone, but you have needs like everyone else and your inner needs especially must be given special attention this year. It’s not about fame and fortune, it’s about loving yourself.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

Although most things seem to be going well for you at the moment you cannot afford to take your good fortune for granted. On the home front, especially, it would be a mistake to believe that everyone is as contented with life as you are.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

Venus, your ruling planet, may be doing miracles for your social life but your constant comings and goings are unlikely to please everyone. Make time for the people you love most in life and don’t neglect to invite them along on your travels.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

If you observe an injustice taking place today you must make it your business to do something about it. It may be tempting to pretend not to notice and carry on having fun but your conscience will nag at you for weeks to come if you do.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

Venus in your sign links with both Saturn and Neptune today, which suggests you may be blaming yourself for a failure of some sort that was never really your fault. You don’t have to take responsibility for other people’s stupid choices.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Sometimes in life you have no choice but to admit that you are moving in the wrong direction and must go back and find the point where you went off course. If you make that your one and only aim today you can still have a great weekend.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The more friends and colleagues shower you with praise today the more you will suspect they are looking to profit at your expense, but you are being suspicious for no good reason. Do whatever it takes to stay positive. An upbeat outlook is a must.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Not everyone can live up to your high standards of behaviour, so make allowances and try not to fall out with friends whose approach to life seems unnecessarily negative. If you judge them too harshly today someone else may judge you harshly tomorrow.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You may be eager to get started on a project you have been planning for ages but it won’t hurt to wait a bit longer. You may have missed an important detail that could trip you up later on, so find out what it is before moving ahead.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It may seem as if you can do no wrong at the moment but don’t be too reckless, especially when dealing with other people’s money. If you make a bad call you could end up in debt to people who are not remotely sympathetic to your plight.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Try not to let minor disputes annoy you today. Some people may be determined to drag you down to their low level but there is nothing they can do if you refuse to play their silly games. Laugh at their foolishness and carry on having fun.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Few things in life are risk-free and if you want something enough today you should just go for it and ignore the potential consequences. The more you think about it the higher the costs will appear to be – so don’t think about it at all.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

What you need to tell a loved one today may be painful but you cannot allow them to continue along their current destructive path. You are one of the few people they will listen to, so it is very much your responsibility to speak up.
