HOROSCOPES

Each day is precious and each day is full of opportunity, so resolve on your birthday to make the most of every hour and every minute. Don’t waste time and energy on activities that don’t in some way move you closer to your long-term goals.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

Throw yourself into your work today but don’t overdo it to such an extent that you risk a physical breakdown. As the sun moves toward the end of its journey through the most dynamic area of your sign you must be aware of your limits.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

You will get your chance to make your mark when the sun moves in your favour on Friday. You may not think of yourself as much of an artist but you will have the power to create something that delights both yourself and other people.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

A loved one may give the impression that they don’t have a care in the world but you can tell they are hurting inside. Make it your business today to find out what is distressing them and then do whatever it takes to cheer them up.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

Just because someone offers you something nice does not mean they are trying to bribe you. Sometimes you can be a bit too suspicious for your own good, so act on the assumption that they want the best for you and then let them give it to you.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Change is in the air and you may be of the opinion that it’s not a good time to do anything strenuous. You may be right, but that is not an excuse to stop altogether. A task of some sort needs to be completed either today or tomorrow.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun moves into your sign on Friday and a new solar year will begin, but the old one is not over yet. What can you do over the next 48 hours to end that solar year on a high? Get busy and give it your very best shot.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Although you may disagree with someone’s plans you are advised not to let them know. If they can see you have doubts they may get angry when those plans start going wrong and blame their failure on you. Keep quiet and keep your distance.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You may look calm on the outside but on the inside your emotions are raging. The planets warn you need to keep your feelings under strict control today, because if you lose it you could jeopardize all the good work you’ve done in recent weeks.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It won’t be hard to outshine a rival today but don’t gloat over your success. You may not be the sort to hold a grudge but they are and they may attempt to get their revenge long after you have forgotten about the incident.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If you feel the urge to make an impulse buy today then by all means splash the cash, but make it your last big buy for a while. Even if your finances look okay at the moment there could be a costly surprise or two up ahead.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may be eager to get on in the world but you could easily take on too much between now and the weekend and regret it later on. The message of the stars today is that you will travel faster and further if you choose to travel light.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

It’s time to let go of something that is no longer of any real use to you. It may have been fun in the past but now it is holding you back, so be ruthless and trash it. And yes, that could also apply to a long-term relationship.
