HOROSCOPES

Your social life will get a shot in the arm over the next 12 months but you must pace yourself sensibly so you don’t overdo it. Life is supposed to be fun, of course, but remind yourself occasionally that serious issues have not gone away.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

As Mars moves into the partnership area of your chart today any thoughts you had about taking things easy and enjoying some quiet time will soon fly out the window. It’s going to be noisy and messy, but it will also be fun.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

Your capacity for hard work will increase massively today but no matter how energetic you feel you must impose some limits on yourself. Not even a Taurus can keep doing more without hitting a physical wall. Know your limits and stay within them.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

One of the most creative times of the year begins for you today as Mars moves into your fellow air sign of Libra. Be sensible about the goals you choose to pursue and make sure they feel right for the kind of person you want to be.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

You will have to accept that some kind of aim or ambition is beyond you and it would be better to leave it behind and do something else. Far from being a sign of failure your willingness to make changes is a sign of mental and emotional strength.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you find yourself grappling with a problem that has no easy solution maybe you should just forget about it and devote your time and energy to resolving a more predictable issue. That applies doubly if the problem is not of your own making.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You must be ruthlessly honest with yourself over the next 24 hours, especially if there is money at stake. Admit that you have spent too much and need to make savings, and don’t try to blame other people for your own wastefulness.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You no longer have to stay in the shadows and watch other people get the applause. Now you can step forward and take your rightful place at the front of the stage. Mars in your sign for the next seven weeks means it’s your turn to shine.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The more other people say you need to respect certain boundaries the more you must question them and ask “Why?” The powers that be may not be happy if you challenge their right to make the rules but that’s the reason you must do it.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

A certain individual may deserve a good talking to but is it worth your time and energy to make an example of them? On this occasion it may be better to let them carry on making the same foolish mistakes. It’s not your job to rescue them.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The progress you make on the work front over the days and weeks to come will convince the doubters that you have what it takes to reach the top. It will also demonstrate that you are not as old-fashioned in your thinking as they thought you were.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The more risks you take now the better. With Mars on your side you have the drive and the ambition to overcome any and all odds, so don’t hold back – give what you are working on your very best shot 100 per cent of the time.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

As Mars leaves your opposite sign today you should find that people you deal with on a one-to-one basis are no longer so demanding. That is a good sign for partnerships in general and even more so for those that involve joint financial obligations.
