HOROSCOPES

Social activities are under excellent stars on your birthday, so put yourself about and make friends with people whose outlook on life excites you. No matter what your own beliefs may be you will be thrilled by ideas you had never previously encountered.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

You may not be the sort to suffer fools but if you want this to be a pleasant day it might be best to ignore people who seem determined to turn an already messy situation into an even worse one. You don’t have to play their silly games.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

You will handle what occurs today and over the weekend with ease, but not everyone you have dealings with will be as switched on as you, so make allowances but also make sure that other people’s errors don’t reflect badly on you.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

You need to lay down the law to a certain person because if you don’t they could start thinking they can get away with anything. Let them know in no uncertain terms that they are expected to follow the rules like everyone else.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

The approaching full moon is likely to blur reality a bit, so make sure what you see and hear is truly there and not just a figment of your imagination. If you get it wrong today you could pay for it heavily over the next few weeks.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

A partnership matter will come to a head over the next two or three days and although it may not be a pleasant experience it will at least clear the air. You have spent too much time and energy arguing about something of no real significance.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

It does not matter what other people say is true or false, it matters only that you trust your instincts and follow what they tell you to the letter. This is one of those occasions when the so-called facts could turn out to be fantasies.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Mars in your sign links with Uranus and Saturn over the next 48 hours, endowing you with both energy and ambition. If you want to do something big, something that makes the world take notice of you, now is the time. Act swiftly and decisively.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you go out of your way to treat others with respect today they will go out of their way to open doors and smooth your path to your long-term goal. Don’t try to reach that goal on your own though – success is very much a team effort.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You don’t need to feel guilty just because things are going better for you than they are for friends and colleagues. They will get their chance to shine soon as the approaching full moon upends the status quo. Be careful it doesn’t upend you as well.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Put your own needs first and make sure that whatever money you have in your pocket stays in your pocket. You may be generous by nature but the planets warn you could easily be taken for a sucker by someone with a hard luck story.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Tomorrow’s full moon in your sign will bring to a close a chapter of your life that you may not have enjoyed but which has taught you a lot. Most importantly, it made you realize that your ideas, views and opinions are not unwaveringly perfect.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may not enjoy confrontations but it is essential that you stand up for what you believe today and over the weekend. Make it clear that you are no longer prepared to back off in the face of opposition from people you do not respect.
