HOROSCOPES

The message of your birthday chart is that you don’t have to be the one who takes risks all the time. Let everyone know that you don’t want to be the frontrunner this year. There is no cosmic law that says you must always be the leader.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

You may be the cenrer of attention at the moment, especially in your social group, but the full moon will be such a searching spotlight that there could be times when you feel a bit exposed and uncomfortable. Why? Do you have something to hide?

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

A big change on the work front may come as a surprise but looking back on the situation a few days from now you will realize the signs were there all along. Stay calm and strive to stay on the right side of people in positions of power.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

The more friends and colleagues run this way and that this weekend the easier it will be for you to pick your way through the confusion and achieve something good. Their doom and disaster scenarios have absolutely no chance of coming true.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

You may be tempted to take a short-term profit rather than leave your money where it is and risk losing it all but this weekend’s full moon indicates that your best course of action may be to do nothing at all. Lay low for a while.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Because the current full moon takes place in your opposite sign you cannot expect partners and loved ones to share your outlook on life. Let them do what feels right to them this weekend, even if it means your paths must diverge for a while.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

It should by now be clear that you have been pushing yourself too hard and need to slow down a bit. If you carry on at your current pace you may find that what you get out of your efforts is considerably less than what you put in.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

It will be easy to get frustrated with people who don’t share either your ambition or your energy but it won’t change a thing. If you want to get ahead in the world you must replace those individuals with people whose dreams match your own.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Someone you are close to emotionally needs your moral guidance. Don’t be afraid to tell them where you think they are going wrong and what they must do to put it right. It may be tough love but they will thank you for it one day.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You can be a bit intimidating at times, especially when you are immersed in a project and moving ahead at breakneck speed. No one wants to get in your way. But if you move too fast and make a mistake today don’t expect any sympathy.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

There is no copyright on ideas, so if a friend or colleague or even a family member says something today that stirs your creative juices by all means take it and use it. Likewise, don’t get angry if someone takes and uses one of your own ideas.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may not be the most emotional member of the zodiac but today’s full moon in your sign will make you unusually sensitive. If you find yourself getting touchy for no good reason you can snap yourself out of it by doing something creative.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You are not about to change the way you look at the world just because someone says you should, but they may have a point when they warn that your current outlook is too narrow. It’s time to raise your sights and take in a wider viewpoint.
