HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

If you make an effort to work with people you don’t always get along with over the coming 12 months you will be amazed by how much progress you make. Teamwork is a must if you are to reach the heights you have so often dreamed of.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The sun in your fellow fire sign of Sagittarius makes you more assertive than usual, and that’s good, but don’t get too confrontational. Let others know this weekend that you are happy to be a team player as well as an individual star.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

It will be obvious this weekend that you have been far too serious about an issue that is really not that important and now you need to back off a bit. Will it still be an issue a year or so from now? Probably not, so let it go.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Because the current full moon takes place in your sign it will affect you more than most other people. At the very least you need to maintain control over your emotions. If you don’t you will almost certainly say and do things you regret later on.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You could be a bit too sensitive for your own good this weekend and as other people are likely to be more critical than usual that will cause problems. Keep telling yourself that you are as good as the next person and better than most – because it’s true.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You may be easygoing by nature but this is one of those times when it is essential to stay switched on, because if you allow your mind to wander you could end up miles off course. You can relax later on when you have reached your destination.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You have what it takes to reach the top and make a success of your life, in spite of what the critics might say. Only those people who back you 100 per cent can be allowed to get close to you this weekend. The rest must be ignored.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

It’s okay to get emotional once in a while but only get emotional about the right things. If someone you work or socialize with says something that rubs you up the wrong way this weekend your best response by far is to ignore it.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you discover that someone has been digging around in your personal affairs this weekend you won’t be happy about it to say the least. Let them know in no uncertain terms that, while you have nothing to hide, they are off your Christmas card list this year.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

A full moon in your opposite sign means that something or someone is sure to annoy you. Calm down, count to 10 and refuse to let negative feelings about them consume you. Seriously, what can they say or do that might actually hurt you?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If you focus too much on details over the next 48 hours you could miss the big picture completely. Make a conscious effort to stand back from what is going on in your life so you can see how it fits into the wider scheme of things.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The message of the stars this weekend is that while it may be easy to give up on a creative activity that seems to be going nowhere you will regret it later on if you do. Stick with it, because sooner or later you will make real progress.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Even if cross words are exchanged this weekend you cannot allow them to deflect you from your long-term aims. Early next week it will become apparent that your differences with friends and loved ones are not and never will be of real importance.
