HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You may not trust what your eyes and ears tell you but you do trust what your inner voice has to say, and if it says now is the time to move in a different direction that is what you must do. This year Capricorn, it’s all about change.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

There will be times today when you find it impossible to work out when others are being serious and when they are being playful. In which case it might be wise to keep your own thoughts to yourself in case you respond the wrong way!

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Focus on having fun today and don’t worry if some of your friends, and maybe even family members, say you are wasting money. Maybe you are but the planets indicate this is not the right time to worry about matters of a materialistic nature.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You need to remind yourself that in the greater scheme of things your problems are really not that important. Only then can you look for solutions without being overwhelmed by the immensity of the task. Stand back from life and see the bigger picture.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you find yourself at odds with someone you live or work with today it’s most likely because you have different ways of looking at current events. Compromise is possible but you are under no obligation to bend too far in their direction.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You will need to stay on your toes mentally over the next 24 hours because if you lose focus for even a few minutes your plans are sure to go awry. Also, you could miss out on a golden opportunity to improve your standing on the work front.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Dealing with other people’s problems is taking up far too much of your time and if you don’t learn to say “No” very soon you could find yourself swamped by their constant demands. Remind them that you have needs as well, and today those needs come first.

By all means get tough with someone who is clearly not pulling their weight but don’t go over the top about it. A quiet word in their ear should be enough to get them motivated. Whether that is done by fear or by encouragement is up to you.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

What seems right and proper to friends and colleagues may not seem right and proper to you and if that is the case you must not betray your principles. You have never been the sort to follow the herd and there is no reason why you should start now.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Forget about where you are coming from and focus on where you are going to. The fact that you have reached your current position through sheer hard work and intelligence should be enough to convince you that you have what it takes to climb even higher.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You are not nearly as confident as you look and if someone approaches you with an offer of some kind today you may be inclined to turn it down. That would be a mistake as the planets suggest this particular offer is tailor-made for your talents.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You may be delighted with the way things are going but not everyone shares your positive outlook. Make it your business to show friends and family members who are feeling down that there is no need for sorrow. Life is good and getting better by the day.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Make sure everyone knows that you will not stand for other people meddling in your private affairs. To drive the message home you may have to make an example of a friend or family member who seems to think your secrets should be common knowledge.
