HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Partnerships of one sort or another are going to figure strongly in your affairs over the coming year and you need to move away from the belief that you can take care of everything yourself. Co-operation is essential if you are to enjoy lasting success.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Although you may be fired with enthusiasm for a project of some kind not everyone will share your passion. Don’t waste your time trying to find ways to persuade them, just get on with it. Your success will be all the evidence you need.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You need to face up to a problem you have been running away from for quite some time. Above all you need to let certain people know that your days of rushing around getting things done for them – at your expense – are now well and truly over.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You are in no mood to turn a blind eye to behaviour you consider to be outside the limits of what is acceptable. Be careful though about picking arguments with people whose power and position in life can be used to cause you trouble. Just avoid them.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Do you see yourself as a hero or a villain? Hopefully it’s the former but what happens over the next 24 hours will make it clear that if you follow what your conscience tells you the applause you get will make it clear you made the right choice.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The sun in your fellow fire sign of Sagittarius at this time of year makes you super confident but today’s Sun-Saturn link means you also need to be cautious. You are not invincible and there are some serious powers at work at the moment.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The most important thing now is that you treat everyone you meet as equally worthy of your time and attention. Yes, some people may be boring and others may be annoying but if you look past that you will discover they deserve respect as well.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Be forceful today and make sure everyone knows that you are not and never will be a fool. That applies doubly on the work front where it appears that some of your colleagues have been taking advantage of your generous nature. It’s got to stop.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you come on too strong today you risk driving away people who could be of use to you in the near future. Sometimes you don’t realize just how intimidating the caustic and sarcastic side of your nature can be. Strive to be more even-tempered.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Today’s sun-Saturn link suggests that a more controlled approach to life both at home and at work will pay the best dividends. Even a super-positive Sag has limits and you cannot keep up your current frenetic level of activity. Slow down a bit.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Just because someone throws down the gauntlet does not mean you have to respond by picking it up. You are under no obligation to get involved in other people’s fights and feuds. At this time of year especially it might be best simply to avoid them.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You will need to be ruthless today, especially when it comes to dealing with people who waste your time with the kind of petty issues that don’t mean a thing to you personally. If their problems are of their own making then they must sort them out.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The only danger today is that because you are more clued in than most people about what is going on in the world you could give others the impression that you don’t rank their ideas and don’t care about their feelings. That isn’t true, is it?
