HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Lady Luck is looking down on you on your birthday, so be ready for a deluge of offers and opportunities over the coming year. There won’t be enough time to make use of them all but you can and you must exploit the very best of them.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You need to be smart when dealing with people whose goals are at odds with your own. It is possible for both of you to succeed but that won’t happen if you are spending more time trying to wreck their plans than you are promoting your own.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may have no choice but to confront someone with evidence of their wrongdoing today but don’t make too big a deal of it. If you let them off easily they will be in your debt, a debt that one day you may need them to pay.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Try not to attach too much importance to material things because the planets suggest you may have to give up something you have come to value in recent months. If that happens though there will be opportunities to replace it with something better later on.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You don’t have to be top dog every day of the week and if you allow a friend or co-worker to enjoy their moment in the spotlight they will reward you for it many times over in the weeks and months to come. Be generous in your praise.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If someone you thought you could rely on abandons you at the first sign of trouble today the situation may actually work in your favour. Better that they show their true colors now than later on when there is a lot more at stake.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You need to let a colleague know that you do not approve of what they are up to, but don’t make too big a thing of it. If they change their ways that’s great – if not, let them know that your partnership will soon be coming an end.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The more someone flatters you today the more sure you can be that they don’t believe half of what they are saying. Those who support you the most don’t need to make a big thing of their loyalty. Actions speak louder than words.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You may feel that you are being taken advantage of by someone who says all the right things but even if that is true you will still get out of the relationship more than you put in. For that reason alone don’t be too eager to end it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You are rarely subtle in the way you approach both personal and professional issues and your all-or-nothing attitude will pay dividends today. Some people may end up feeling a bit emotionally bruised but that’s their fault for being so thin-skinned.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If someone you have feelings for disappoints you today you must not let it show. According to the planets they are doing their best and will do even better in the future if you encourage them privately rather than berate them publicly.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The planets warn you could go over the top a bit money-wise over the next 24 hours, so keep an eye on your spending and be aware that splashing out a few dollars here and a few dollars there can add up very quickly to a considerable sum.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The creative gifts you were born with are supposed to be used to better both yourself and the world at large, so stop worrying that you are not as good as your rivals and put your talents on display. You will be both applauded and rewarded.
