HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Whatever successes you enjoy this year will have little to do with your abilities, or even with luck, and a huge amount to do with your willingness to put yourself where the action is. Just by turning up you will be halfway to reaching your goal.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You have energy to spare at the moment and that’s just as well because someone you work with is going to need your assistance. If you can help them get out of a rut today you will be in their good books for a long time to come.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Anyone who thinks you are too set in your ways will be forced to think again now as you do something out of the ordinary. If you feel the urge to be a bit outrageous then go for it – it will do your reputation a power of good.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You may not be much in the mood for socializing at the moment but that’s a good thing in that if you focus on getting on top of your workload today it will free up the weekend for more interesting, maybe even romantic, pursuits.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you are forced to make a detour of some sort today you must not allow yourself to get angry about it because that will make your journey even harder to bear. Just stay calm and give yourself a bit more time to reach your destination.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

There is a danger that you could be a bit too generous for your own good over the next 24 hours, so promise yourself now that you will only give handouts to those people who truly deserve it. You’re not made of money after all.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The message of the stars today is that you must go with the flow and not allow yourself to worry if the direction you are heading is not the one you would have chosen. One way or another you will get where you most need to be.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Make it a point of principle to be nice to everyone you meet, even to people who are rarely nice to you. Someone you don’t think of as a friend may surprise you and do something wonderfully helpful. If you make an effort then so will they.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Under no circumstances allow other people to do what you should be doing for yourself, because the planets warn they will make a poor job of it and your workload will be doubled as a result. The planning and the effort must come from you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may not be in the mood for work today but that’s okay because what occurs over the weekend will motivate you to get moving at top speed again, so take a break now while you can. Personal matters are about to come under very good stars.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You have done so many things for so many people lately that it should come as no surprise that some of those people now want to do things for you. Whatever it is they offer you today accept it with a smile even if you don’t actually want it.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

If you tell a friend something you don’t know to be true it will be you they blame if they make choices that turn out to be wrong. Unless you are 100 per cent sure of the facts it might be wise to keep your thoughts to yourself.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may not enjoy being the center of attention but others are looking to you to take the lead both at home and at work. If they trust you with so much responsibility then maybe you should trust yourself a bit more as well.
