HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

No matter how many times you get things wrong you will always get another chance, so stop feeling sorry for yourself and start making plans. A positive outlook is a must this year: with it all things are possible; without it you won’t get far.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Sometimes you just have to be blunt and this is one of those times. Whatever it is you want to complain about others won’t take you seriously unless you let them know you are genuinely annoyed – so, yes, use some colourful language!

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You must keep a cool head today because now that Uranus has stopped moving retrograde you may be tempted to rush at life head-first to make up for all the times you have been overly cautious. Don’t go from one extreme to the other.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The message of the stars today is that you must ignore the know-it-alls and deal with a tough situation your way. You may be the only who thinks it will work but you have surprised the doubters in the past and will surprise them now as well.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Stop worrying about your money situation and act as if you have enough spare cash to do as you please. No, that is not an invitation to go on a spending spree but the planets indicate you don’t have to check your finances every few minutes.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If loved ones seem unresponsive to your efforts to win them round to your way of thinking it could be because they have got wise to your tactics. Instead of appealing to base instincts such as making money, try appealing to their conscience instead.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun’s journey through the most hard-working area of your chart endows you with energy to spare but that does not mean you are obliged to do for others what they should be doing for themselves. Don’t exhaust yourself right before the weekend.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Cosmic activity in the most dynamic area of your chart means you don’t lack for courage and confidence but you need to add a large dash of common sense if you are to avoid unnecessary trouble. Steer clear of people who enjoy causing strife.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Try not to let a minor disagreement get out of hand today. It may seem as if a colleague is being provocative for the fun of it but even if that is true you won’t gain anything from rising to the bait. Laugh at them and walk away.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may be tempted to blame someone else for what recently went wrong but before you do that take a look at your own contribution and ask if you could have done better. A little bit of self-criticism could prevent a repeat situation later on.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The only danger you face today and over the weekend is that you might get carried away and spend money that should stay in your pocket. Have fun by all means but don’t waste your hard-earned dollars on high-tech trinkets you don’t really need.

Your energy levels may be high at the moment but you need to be sensible and recognize that you cannot continue at your current frenzied pace. If you feel a bit below par today take that as a sign you need to start slowing down.
