HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A sun-Saturn link on your birthday will endow you with the self-discipline you need to get important things done but don’t forget to lighten up once in a while. All work and no play may be a recipe for success but not for happiness.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Stop trying to be perfect and just be yourself. As Venus moves into the most dynamic area of your chart today you don’t need to put on an act, because the world wants to see the real you, the you they have come to admire so much.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The more someone appeals to your sense of duty the more you should be on your guard. Almost certainly their ultimate aim is to get you doing all the hard stuff while they sit back and take it easy. You must not let that happen.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

When dealing with people in positions of power it will pay you to be less trusting than you usually are. Saturn in the career area of your chart is going through one of its retrograde phases, which means you need to keep your guard up 24 hours a day.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

As Venus moves into the money area of your chart today you may be tempted to go on a spree but if you do you will regret it over the weekend when you have to watch the pennies while your friends and colleagues are having lots of fun.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

By all means focus on your work today but schedule some down time too. The influence of Venus in your sign over the next few weeks means you will do better in all areas, not just socially and romantically, if you adopt a more easygoing outlook on life.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If someone you work or do business with throws their weight around today you must not get angry – just turn your back and walk away. They will soon realize how important you are to their plans and come running after you full of regret.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts:

Do whatever it takes (within reason) to stay on the good side of people in positions of authority. If you show willing and make more of an effort than your colleagues they will make a note of it and maybe even promote you in the near future.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If a friend or relative tells you something you don’t want to hear today that’s too bad – you need to be made aware of what’s really going on, because if you carry on walking round with your eyes shut you could end up bumping into something that hurts!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Someone you work alongside may try to take liberties today and if they do you must come down on them quickly and hard. You may be a nice guy by nature but that is not an invitation for others to take advantage of your generous nature.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

A clash of egos is likely today but with a little goodwill it can be stopped from degenerating into an unseemly fight. The fact is you are both on the same side and should be directing your energy and anger at those who would do you both harm.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You may need to soothe someone who seems to believe you have it in for them. The most important thing now is harmony both at home and at work, because there are more important things to worry about than gossip about who said this and who said that.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Don’t rock the boat or say things you know won’t go down well on the work front. Saturn in your sign warns that your rivals are as aware of your failings as you are of theirs and are itching for an excuse to draw attention to them.
