HOROSCOPES

Go your own way, do your own thing and laugh at those who say your reputation could suffer. Your birthday chart indicates you have reached the stage in life when you no longer care about being seen as a success or a failure. Good for you.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

Saturn in your sign makes it feel as if you are being held back but most likely it’s because the universe has a more important fate in store for you. Be positive in your outlook and keep your eyes and ears open for that big opportunity.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

Don’t worry if someone in a position of authority seems to be giving you a hard time because the planets indicate they are reacting to pressure from those even higher up the professional ladder. What can you do to calm them down?

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

Do something different today, something that puts you in the right frame of mind to have a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. You cannot expect partners and loved ones to share your sense of adventure but you can expect great things of yourself.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

You need to get serious about your long-term objectives, because if you don’t take advantage of the opportunities now coming your way you may one day look back and wish you had been more ambitious. Don’t be lazy and don’t fear success.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You may be less than happy that some of the people you work with seem unwilling to pull their weight but don’t go overboard about it. The planets warn you could easily step over the fine line between being assertive and being obnoxious.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The best way to deal with serious issues is to not take them quite so seriously. A more light-hearted approach to matters of a personal and partnership nature today and over the weekend will make it easier to find answers to most of your problems.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You seem to believe that you must act first and act fast if you are to defeat a rival, but the planets disagree. You are more likely to win this particular tussle if you let them make the first move – as it will probably be a bad one.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

There is no point getting angry if someone lets you down today. They may deserve to be told how useless they are but will that make them any more effective the next time? Probably not. Not everyone can be as switched on as you, so make allowances.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It’s great that you have so many plans but don’t be too rigid in your thinking or you could miss out on better ways to succeed. Plans are useful but they can always be changed, so be flexible in your approach both at home and at work.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Try not to be in such a hurry to get things done. If you push ahead too fast today you could make a few mistakes and then have to waste time and energy fixing them. Besides, come the start of next week your plans may have changed.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The task you are working on may seem complicated but if you stand back and view it as a whole rather than as a series of separate pieces you should be able to see a better way of approaching it. It’s all about the bigger picture.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

It’s time to knuckle down to some serious work. You may think that what you have been doing these past few weeks was serious but compared to what’s coming it is actually of little significance. Big events are bubbling under – be ready for them.
