HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The social side of your nature will come to the fore this year but you must be careful what you spend because you could easily rack up debts while having fun. The more party invitations you receive the more selective you will need to be.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The planets suggest that some sort of breakthrough is imminent, either in your career or financially, and what occurs over the next 24 hours is sure to convince you that this time it is not a false alarm. When the opportunity comes you must embrace it.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The sun’s link to Uranus today means not only that something out of the ordinary is going to happen but that it will come about in the most welcome way. Be ready to move at a moment’s notice and don’t feel sorry for those who get left behind.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Some changes happen so quickly that even quick-witted Geminis get taken by surprise. The good news is that what occurs today, while unexpected, won’t faze you at all. With some serious dollars at stake you won’t be playing catch-up for long.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

There seems to be an added urgency to your activities at the moment, no doubt caused by the realization that time is fast running out. You can sense that if you don’t act now you could lose the chance to act at all, so get a move on!

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Abrupt developments in your career could send you into a tailspin today but you won’t be confused or anxious for long. The sun’s upcoming move into your sign will give you the confidence to take setbacks in your stride, and maybe even profit from them.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Something marvellous will happen between now and the weekend but while it may be great fun for you not everyone will be happy that their lives have been turned upside-down. Make it your business to remind them that, in a universal sense, all change is good.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts:

Don’t bother trying to move events in the direction you want them to go because today’s sun-Uranus link means your efforts will probably be wasted. Your best course of action by far is to stay loose and react to events as and when they occur.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

There is a strong possibility that partners and colleagues will disagree with your plans today and if they do you must ask them why. It could be the case that they can see pitfalls that you in your haste have managed to overlook. Maybe you should be thanking them.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

What takes place today may not be to your liking but there is no point making a fuss because there are forces at work that are too powerful to be opposed. All you can do, at least for now, is to hold tight and pretend to enjoy the ride.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

What can you do to help make the world a better place? The planets indicate that if you want to make a real difference you should use your talent for organization to bring similar people together. Many minds are better than just the one.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Uranus, your ruler, makes a helpful link to the sun today, which means you have the power to change not just your own way of looking at the world but the way other people see reality as well. Find creative ways to get your message across.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may be changeable by nature but sometimes you get so focused on something, an ambition, a project or a relationship, that nothing can deflect you away from your goal. You won’t have to react to events today – events will react to you.
