HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Confidence in your own abilities will take you a long way over the coming 12 months, maybe further than you have ever been before. More important by far, however, is that you have clear-cut aims both in your personal affairs and in your career.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You may have to get pushy this weekend, if only to remind certain people that they need to up their game if they want a place on your team. But don’t go too far and give them an excuse to push back and make it a tug of war!

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Energy plus enthusiasm will take you from where you are now to where you most want to be. Mars in your sign means you have the drive and the determination not just to start a new project but to see it through to the end.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Try not to be too aggressive over the next 24 hours. You may have a valid reason for being angry with someone but yelling and shouting won’t win them round. Instead, give them logical reasons why it’s in their interests to change their ways.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Once you take the first big step towards an objective there will be no stopping you – momentum will kick in and soon you will be speeding along. Don’t worry about any obstacles you might find in your path, just soar over them and keep going.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You cannot control every little thing that goes on in your environment but you can control the one big thing on which everything else depends. Make it your aim this weekend to focus on what truly matters while ignoring all the irrelevant gossip and trivia.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The possibility of failure must not be allowed to take root in your mind, because once it is there it will be extremely hard to get rid of again. Make things easier for yourself by not setting the bar for achievement at a ridiculously high level.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts:

Your self-belief will soar this weekend and your ideas and creativity on the work front will impress people in positions of power. A positive attitude when dealing with difficult tasks could take you a very long way in a relatively short space of time.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You don’t have to pretend that you care about a certain person when in reality you would prefer to have nothing to do with them. It is perfectly okay to have likes and dislikes – it is part of the human condition. Just don’t take them to extremes.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If someone you don’t usually get along with becomes excessively friendly toward you over the next 48 hours you must ask yourself what it is you possess that they might desire. Do you want to give it to them? Can you even afford to?

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Radical changes may be taking place in the world around you but that does not mean you must change radically as well. People trust you for your common sense and your steady approach to life’s challenges, and would prefer you to stay as you are.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The best way to help yourself is to help other people, especially when it comes to dealing with fears that you share. Do your best to resolve any anxieties that friends and loved ones may be having. At the very least it will take your mind off your problems.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

A choice you make concerning a long-term relationship will affect the lives of other people too, so think carefully before you make a move you cannot go back on. The planets suggest you don’t have to make a lasting break, at least not all in one go.
