HOROSCOPES

A un-Mars link on your birthday will encourage you to travel and have fun this year but don’t get carried away and sign up for activities that could cost more cash than you’ve got in the bank. Always make sure you get value for money.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

It’s time to knuckle down to some serious work and today’s link between the sun and Mars will put you in the right frame of mind to give whatever it is you are working on your very best shot. Never offer less than 100 per cent.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

Get together with loved ones today and talk through anything that you feel has been coming between you. A happy home life is the essential foundation for all sorts of success, so make sure they know you have only good feelings for them.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

If you keep your options open today you can find an easy route to a goal that you started to move toward at the start of the week. Sometimes you try too hard to prove yourself and that can cause friction that is both unnecessary and restrictive.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

You may be in the mood to do extraordinary things but you could so easily waste time and energy on stuff that is of no real importance. What is your No. 1 goal? Focus on that and nothing else today, tomorrow and over the weekend.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

As mind planet Mercury moves into your sign today your confidence will soar and tasks you thought would be too much for you will seem surprisingly easy. Don’t take on too much though because there are still physical limits you need to observe.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Your tendency to think too much needs to be curbed as it could hold you back from doing stuff that you know won’t be easy. Learn to control your fears and act as if there is nothing and no one that can hold you back from your destiny.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Something you once took for granted is no longer a sure thing and you will be asking yourself some serious questions about it over the next 24 hours. Changes in your working routine will be needed, but don’t ever change your dreams.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You need to speak up and let people in positions of authority know who you are and what you can do. It’s not enough just to do your best and expect the world to notice and reward you – you also need to do lots of personal marketing.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

The fact that someone in authority does not approve of what you are doing won’t hold you back for even a second. You honestly believe that, if the powers that be are against you, then you must be doing the right thing. And you are!

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Be realistic about what you can achieve over the next few weeks but don’t set your sights too low. You are at your best when there is a challenge in front of you that forces you to go the extra mile. Just don’t make it a marathon!

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may not really care what friends and colleagues think about something of a social or political nature but you would be wise to at least listen to what they have to say. If you don’t, you could end up looking out of touch.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The more others press you to follow a plan through to the end the more likely it is you will rebel and do things in a less structured way. It won’t make you any new friends but it will make what you have to do a lot more interesting.
