HOROSCOPES

If you’ve been having trouble working out what your next big step should be then what occurs on your birthday will point you in the right direction. It’s a simple two-step process: Listen to your inner voice, then act quickly on what it tells you.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

You don’t mind being tested but you do mind when rivals confront you with challenges you know are designed to make you look bad. You don’t have to play their dishonest games – just turn your back on them and walk away with your head held high.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

The more some people run around like headless chickens screaming that the sky is about to fall the more you should ignore them. The worst possible scenarios rarely come about, so go with the odds and act as if nothing can possibly go wrong.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

There is a lot of disinformation about at the moment, so be careful what you allow yourself to believe. Just because you are told something by someone in a position of authority does not mean it is true. Check the facts for yourself today.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

You may have confidence in your own abilities but some of the people above you on the professional ladder appear to have their doubts. What can you do to convince them you are the real deal? Put on a show today but don’t make it too flashy.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The more others say you must put duty before having fun the less inclined you will be to listen to them. As far as you are concerned if what you are working on does not make you smile then it isn’t worth the time or the effort.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Your creative juices will be bubbling today and over the weekend, so get ready to do something out of the ordinary and don’t let friends and colleagues of a more conservative nature persuade you to play safe. Where’s the fun in that?

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Some people can be incredibly vain and one such individual will get on your nerves over the next 24 hours. The more they talk about themselves and how fantastic they are the less inclined you will be to take them seriously, and rightly so.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

There is a definite luck factor working in your favour at the moment, so be on the lookout for opportunities to show what you can do and, when one arrives, give it all you’ve got. Remember, you don’t have to ask permission to be a star.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may be the sort of person who acts first and asks questions later (and sometimes not at all) but you must put a bit more thought into your actions today and over the weekend. If you take unnecessary risks it could cost you serious money.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You can be a pretty good actor when you put your mind to it and if you pretend that you don’t have a care in the world today the world will believe it. You don’t have to feel confident on the inside when your outside persona is so strong.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The contacts you make over the next few days will be useful later in the year, so be open to people who approach you out of the blue and don’t just assume they want something from you. More likely they have something special for you.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may be raring to go at making a name for yourself but a little bit of patience now will pay huge dividends later on. Use your time wisely today. Find a quiet place where you can be alone with your thoughts and work on your long-term plan.
