HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Mars and Jupiter are both active on your birthday, which means your optimism will be high and your objectives even higher. You must though have a sensible plan that will take you from where you are now to where you want to be without making silly mistakes.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You may be the only one who does not know what is going on but that could in fact work in your favour. When other people’s plans inevitably go wrong this week you will be able to truthfully say it was nothing to do with you.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

It’s good to have big ideas and big expectations but if you are smart you will put your plans on hold for a while. There is no mad rush to get things done and that bit of extra time will make it more likely that your projects succeed.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You clearly have what it takes to succeed, so why are you so unsure of yourself? Most likely it’s because Jupiter, planet of good fortune, is now moving retrograde. Don’t worry. Success may take a little longer to reach you but it will come eventually.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The most important thing now is that you don’t let other people undermine your confidence. Keep telling yourself that what you are involved in is not a zero-sum game – everyone can be a winner over the next few days if you all pull together.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Usually your instincts can be trusted but the current cosmic climate means it might be wise to get a second opinion from someone who has more experience. At the very least they can point out some of the likely pitfalls along the way.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

According to the planets you have misunderstood what is going on around you and need to stand back from events so you can assess the situation from a wider viewpoint. You will only lose out if you stubbornly persist in seeing what clearly isn’t there.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts

If someone in a position of authority tries to persuade you to do as they say you must dig in your heels and refuse to budge. With the power they have it won’t be easy but if you do give in now you will surely regret it later on.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Mars in your fellow water sign of Cancer makes you more adventurous than usual but other influences warn you would be wise to be cautious as the new week begins. Pace yourself sensibly and don’t agree to take on more than you can handle.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The more a rival talks today the more you will understand they don’t have the faintest idea what it is they are saying. Next to their loud and aggressive manner your own pronouncements will sound like quiet and confident words of wisdom.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

No doubt you have big plans, massive plans even, but take care when and how you choose to reveal them. If you declare your intentions too early that could give your rivals a chance to build obstacles that are designed to slow you down.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If someone you usually get along with seems less than sociable today it’s not because of anything you may have said or done. Most likely they are just a little disappointed that their plans did not work out. Urge them to get over it and try again.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may be tempted to invest in a project you genuinely believe could be the next big thing but the planets warn it could easily go wrong. Only you can make a final decision – it’s your money after all – but err on the side of caution for now.
