HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

As one of the zodiac’s water signs you are driven as much by your emotions as you are by logical thought and that’s a good thing. Only do what feels right to you on an inner level this year, even if it puts you at odds with the world.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Everyone has secrets – yes, even an open and straightforward Aries – and it seems there is something you are desperately trying to hide from family and friends. The planets warn you won’t be able to conceal it forever, so start thinking about how best to reveal it.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

A partner or colleague will get on your nerves with their boastfulness today, but if you are smart you will grin and bear it. It’s inevitable that at some point they will say something that makes them look silly. Give them all the room they need.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You may be tempted to change something that has worked well for you in the past but is that such a wise idea? Sometimes you can be too restless for your own good and on this occasion it might be best to leave things as they are.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The approaching new moon will endow you with drive and determination but you need to have something positive to channel all that energy into. If you are not yet involved in something of a creative nature now would be a good time to make a start.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Cosmic activity in one of the more emotional areas of your chart suggests that some kind of disturbance is imminent. The good news is that once everyone has had their say and the air has been cleared you will all be friends again.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

It does not matter if the whole wide world disagrees with your opinions you have no intention of going back on what you believe, and that’s good. Is it possible that you are right and everyone else is wrong? On this occasion yes it is!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If you come into money today you won’t be able to hold on to it for long – the urge to go on a spree will be far too strong. You may end up being short of cash later in the week but at least the taxman won’t get it!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You have no intention of settling for second best and anyone who tries to persuade you to tone down your ambitions won’t be a friend or a colleague much longer. As far as you are concerned there is no middle ground between success and failure.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Make sure you get out of bed in the best possible mood, because that is the outlook that will stay with you throughout the day and well into the night. Seriously, what have you got to be glum about? Compared to most people you’ve got it good!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

It is of the utmost importance that you keep an open mind today, because you are about to be confronted by something that seems ridiculous but is in fact closer to the truth than most people imagine. There are still some real mysteries out there in the world.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Don’t listen to people who say you should lower your sights a little because what they really mean is they want you to lower your sights a lot. The fact is they are intimidated by your desire to get ahead in the world. Intimidate them even more today.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

This may be a time of extremes but that does not mean you should be extreme in your own thoughts and actions. Take a more balanced view of what is going on in the world. Be the kind of person who makes a constructive difference.
