HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A full moon on your birthday means you need to tread carefully in one-to-one relationships, both in your personal life and in the world at large. Just because some people seem to be hostile does not mean they really are. Focus on what you have in common.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

As Mercury ends its retrograde phase you will find it much easier to expand your horizons. Look further afield for activities that excite you and don’t limit yourself to what has been done before. Give your adventurous spirit permission to take chances.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

There is no point trying to fight circumstances that you know, deep down, cannot be changed. The message of the stars for the week ahead is that you must go with the flow and believe that you will end up somewhere better than where you are now.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If someone offers you a helping hand over the next few days don’t be too proud to accept. If you turn them down you could find that you need their assistance even more before the end of the year – and it will be embarrassing having to admit it.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You need to open your eyes, your ears and most of all your mind this week so you can recognize how other people see you. They may have an idea of who you are that is at odds with your self-perception. The truth lies somewhere in the middle.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The cosmic powers that be will provide you with opportunities to prove yourself over the next few days. It may mean taking the sort of risks that you usually prefer to avoid but on this occasion it is probably the only way to succeed.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The most important thing now is that you stay calm and refuse to let anyone get under your skin. One particular individual may be difficult to deal with this week but if you are smart you won’t be as hard on them as they have been on you.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

In recent weeks, while mind planet Mercury was going through its retrograde phase, you were often reluctant to believe what your inner voice was telling you. Now though you can be sure that the right message is coming through. Act on it quickly.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you are determined to put your money on the line at least make sure that what you are risking it on is a long-term investment rather than a short-term scheme to get rich. There really is no such thing as an easy profit.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Something that has bothered you so much in recent weeks won’t bother you at all over the next few days. With Mercury in your sign no longer moving retrograde it won’t seem so important any more. The fact is, of course, it never was.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

There is no point worrying yourself sick about something you cannot change. The more you panic the more likely it is you will do things that make your current situation worse than it needs to be, so calm down and recognize that fear is a pointless emotion.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Try not to overreact if a workmate gives you a hard time. Most likely they are being harassed by people further up the chain of command and need to blow off some steam. Unfortunately, on this occasion, it’s easier for them to have a go at you.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The area where you feel you have been held back the most in recent weeks is the area where you will make most progress over the next few days. You don’t have to do much yourself, just be ready to seize new opportunities as and when they arrive.
