HOROSCOPES

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

Take life as it comes this year and avoid thinking too deeply about the meaning of your existence. There is a meaning, of course, but the more time you spend trying to work out what it is the less time you will have for loving and laughing.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

Just because you are a bit short of cash does not mean you cannot have a good time. Get together with people who share your sunny outlook on life and come up with ways to have fun on the cheap. The next few days can be memorable.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

There will be times over the coming week when you feel it necessary to open up and let others see the vulnerable side of your nature. Later on you may be embarrassed that you took it so far but for now it’s the right thing to do.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

If you are having second thoughts about a project that only a short time ago you were passionate about then by all means call a halt for a while. Chances are your mood will change again and you will want to see it through to the end.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

By all means speak up about a situation that stirs you but don’t come across as too preachy or you will turn off people who want to be on your side. Stick to the facts and present them to the world in a calm and constructive manner.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Someone you meet on your travels will make a big impression on you over the next few days. The only danger is you may become so infatuated with them that you take every word they say as holy writ. You’ve got a brain for a reason – use it!

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You need to accept there can be no turning back and that it’s time to move on to pastures new. With Mars in your sign you have the power to make a brand new start but you cannot be half-hearted about it. Make a solid commitment.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Loved ones will happily ride to your rescue over the coming week, but only if you let them know you need their assistance. As the sign most linked with partnerships you should know by now you don’t have to face life’s hardships alone.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Make it your No. 1 aim as the new week begins to leave the object of your affection in no doubt at all that your feelings for them are as deep as ever. Don’t just tell them how much you care, do something magical to prove it.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You may be tempted to work harder than ever and push yourself to the limit both physically and mentally but it’s really not necessary. The universe is very much on your side at the moment, so tune into the vibe and let it carry you along.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may not want to be the focus of attention but you have clearly done something good and now the eyes of the world are looking in your direction. Remain ice calm on the outside, even though on the inside you may be trembling with fear.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Avoid negative people like the plague over the next few days. Even though you may be in a buoyant mood their relentless pessimism could easily drag you down to their level. Misery loves company, so do whatever it takes to stay cheerful.
