HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The eyes of the world will be on you this year and if you make the most of your talents you could soon be a star. Or is your privacy so precious that the idea of celebrity appalls you? Only you can decide if fame is your spur.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You have never been the shy and retiring sort and you are certainly not going to start now! Mars, your ruler, moves into the most dynamic area of your chart this week, so you will double up on your ambitions. It’s time to get things done.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You don’t have to do anything special to enjoy the next few days, you just have to let go of your fears and try something new. Once you have done that you can turn your attention to family members and help them get more from life too.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If something you have been working on for several weeks no longer inspires you then drop it and do something else. It’s true that you should try to finish what you started but this is one of those occasions when it’s probably not worth it.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you suddenly feel a bit out of your depth don’t let it panic you. Most likely it’s because Mars is ending its stay in your sign and confidence alone can no longer get you where you want to go. Talent will though and you’ve got plenty of that.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You are who you are for a reason and no matter how much others criticize your actions over the next few days you will continue along the path that feels right to you. Mars in your sign means you won’t lack for confidence. As if you ever do!

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The only way you are going to reach your No. 1 goal is by getting over any grudges you may have with friends and colleagues so you can start working together again. There is no good reason why you should always be at loggerheads.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The past few weeks have been special for you and with Mars about to move into the area of your chart that governs your hopes and wishes the next few weeks could be even better. Put a name to your dream and then make it come true.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You don’t have to lead from the front every time there is a crisis. You don’t have to be the go-to hero. The message of the planets for the week ahead is that you must stand back from the latest challenge and insist that others do their bit.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

One of the best times of the year is about to begin and you can make it even better by clearing your mind of irrelevant thoughts and focusing only on what matters to you. Once your brain clicks into gear you will feel alive like never before.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Like it or not you are going to have to get serious about your financial situation over the next few weeks. The good news is that Mars in the wealth area of your chart will give you all the energy you need to make those much-needed changes.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Make it your priority to have as much fun as is humanely possible over the next few days. And make it an equal priority to get friends and family members to have fun in your dazzling company. Be the one who gives everyone a mood lift.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

As Mars is about to move into the work area of your chart you may be tempted to get everything done in one mad rush, but deep down you recognize that is unlikely to work. What you must do is follow a sensible plan a step at a time.
