400 Flights Disrupted as Four Major Pakistan Airports Close for Security Reasons

Flight operations across Pakistan were badly affected after four major airports were closed due to security concerns. The sudden move caused major disruptions, impacting almost 400 flights in total.

Out of these, about 130 flights were completely canceled. Another 24 flights had to be redirected to different cities such as Multan, Quetta, Muscat, and Karachi. Many other flights were delayed or remained uncertain, leaving passengers confused and frustrated.

The airports that were most affected included Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot, Karachi, and Peshawar. These airports saw very limited takeoffs, and many scheduled flights had to be called off at the last minute. As a result, thousands of travelers were left stranded at terminals, trying to figure out alternative ways to reach their destinations.

People had to deal with long waits, unclear updates, and changes in their travel plans without much notice. Many families, business travelers, and international passengers were stuck at airports, hoping for quick solutions.

Airline staff and airport authorities were seen working overtime to help manage the chaos, but the situation remained tense. With so many flight changes, hotels around airports also saw a rise in bookings from stranded passengers.

Officials have not shared exact details about the security concerns but said that passenger safety is the top priority.

Travelers are being advised to check with airlines before heading to the airport and to stay updated on the situation through official channels. The closures highlight the importance of being prepared for unexpected travel disruptions.
