5 Hours Electricity Shutdown Notice for Areas of Islamabad

IESCO has requested all its consumers to cooperate and adjust their plans for the day. They suggest completing important household or business tasks that require electricity before the scheduled shutdown begins.

The company says these regular maintenance activities are crucial for improving the electric supply system, preventing sudden faults, and making sure consumers get better service in the long run.

IESCO has also assured residents that power will be restored as soon as the upgrade work is completed.

IESCO has informed the public about a planned power shutdown that will take place on Friday, July 12, 2025. This electricity suspension is necessary for important system upgrades and maintenance work to ensure a more reliable power supply in the future.

According to IESCO, the power will be switched off for four hours, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Many areas will be affected by this temporary outage, so residents are being asked to get ready in advance to avoid any major inconvenience.

In Rawalpindi, areas under the City Circle will be impacted, including places like EME Complex, Jhangi, Zircon Heights, and P&T Wini Feeders. People living or working in these parts should expect no electricity during the maintenance time.

Similarly, areas in the Chakwal Circle, such as Patwali and Bhadial Feeders, will also face a power cut. The Jhelum Circle will not be spared either, with the Karsal Feeder and nearby neighborhoods being part of the shutdown plan.
