Iran’s newly elected President, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, will be visiting Pakistan on July 26 for an official visit. This visit highlights the close ties between the two neighbouring countries and will be Dr. Pezeshkian’s first trip to Pakistan as president.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed the upcoming visit during a phone conversation with Iran’s Interior Minister, Eskandar Momeni. Both sides spoke about plans to make sure the visit goes smoothly and strengthens cooperation between the two nations.

This will be the second time in two years that an Iranian president has visited Pakistan. Last year, former President Ebrahim Raisi visited Pakistan and held discussions on trade, security, and regional matters.

The back-to-back visits show that both countries are keen to build stronger connections and work together on common goals.

During this visit, President Pezeshkian is expected to meet Pakistan’s top leaders to discuss ways to improve economic ties, enhance border security, and promote cultural exchange. Officials believe the visit could help both countries find new opportunities for trade and development.

Leaders from both countries often stress the importance of working together to maintain peace and stability in the region. They also focus on solving shared challenges, such as border security and boosting business activities.

Preparations for the visit are already underway to make sure all arrangements are in place. Pakistani leaders have expressed hope that President Pezeshkian’s trip will open new doors for friendly relations and stronger cooperation in the future.
