DNTV, Staff Reporter
The security teams at the Ajman Police have arrested an Asian man on charges of selling and storing counterfeit lubricating oils bearing international brands registered in Ajman.
Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of Ajman Police’s Criminal Investigation Department, stated that a report was received at Al Hamidiya Comprehensive Police Station indicating that a warehouse was engaged in the production, packaging, storage and sale of counterfeit car oils and lubricants in the New Industrial Area.
A task force was promptly entrusted within the Investigations Department. Following the completion of all legal procedures, the site was raided, resulting in the seizure of large quantities of oils belonging to multiple companies.
The subsequent search and investigation of the individuals involved in the report revealed that the individual in question was also reported in another tip-off at the Comprehensive City Police Centre.
When questioned about the incident, suspect openly admitted to filling cans of car oils and lubricants from well-known international companies with his own oil, intending to sell them under the name of the well-known companies.
