Alkhidmat Foundation Spent Rupees 25 Crore to Support Flood-Affected Families

The Alkhidmat Foundation has stepped forward to provide support and relief to families affected by the recent floods. So far, the organization has spent 25 crore rupees to help those in need.

This amount has been used to provide emergency food, temporary shelters, clean drinking water, and medical facilities for thousands of families living in the most severely damaged areas.

According to Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, the situation in flood-hit regions remains critical, with countless families losing their homes, livestock, and sources of income.

Many are still struggling to find safe places to stay, while children and elderly people face serious health risks due to a lack of clean water and proper sanitation. In response, Alkhidmat has been working on the ground with volunteers and local teams to make sure that help reaches people quickly and directly.

The Foundation has also set up relief camps to provide cooked meals and safe shelters. Medical teams have been sent to treat patients suffering from waterborne diseases and other flood-related illnesses. Clean drinking water projects are being launched in areas where water supplies have been badly contaminated.

Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman emphasized that this relief effort is just the beginning, as long-term rehabilitation will also be needed. He added that rebuilding homes, restoring livelihoods, and supporting education for children in flood-affected areas will be key priorities for Alkhidmat in the coming months.

With collective support and ongoing efforts, the Foundation hopes to reduce the suffering of affected families and help them return to normal life.
