Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon, has recently bought a Gulfstream G700, a luxury business jet worth $80 million. This jet is known for its high-tech features, including 20 panoramic windows and a cabin that provides a quiet environment with constantly refreshed air.
The jet was recently seen leaving Ibiza, where Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, were also spotted. According to public flight records, the jet made 28 trips in just 39 days. This level of flying results in a carbon footprint that is 17 times larger than that of the average American.
Despite this, Bezos’ team has stated that he uses carbon offsets and sustainable aviation fuel to help mitigate the environmental impact of his jet travel.
