Bank Indonesia says to issue BI-floating rate notes on November 17

JAKARTA: Indonesia’s central bank is planning to issue “BI-floating rate notes” on November 17, Bank Indonesia official Fitra Jusdiman said on Friday, as part of efforts to deepen the country’s money markets.

The floating rate note is a rupiah-denominated security issued by Bank Indonesia as a short-term debt instrument with a floating interest rate.
