Brotherhood in Need! Saudi Arabia Sends Food Aid to Help 210,000 Flood-Affected Pakistanis

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has started the third phase of its food support program in Pakistan. As part of this effort, over 30,000 food baskets will be given out to help around 210,000 people in need.

The launch event was held at the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad and was attended by high-level officials from both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The program mainly focuses on supporting families affected by floods and other vulnerable communities across the country.

Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, said that this initiative shows Saudi Arabia’s strong and ongoing commitment to helping the people of Pakistan. He emphasized that the Kingdom stands with Pakistan during difficult times and will continue to support those in need.

Pakistan’s Minister for National Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, expressed his gratitude to the Saudi government for its consistent humanitarian assistance. He acknowledged that such support is important for helping struggling families and improving food security in the country.

This latest phase of the project is part of a broader effort by KSrelief to provide regular food aid and support during emergencies. Previous phases of the program have also delivered essential supplies to thousands of families across Pakistan.

The food baskets will be distributed in different regions to make sure that the help reaches the people who need it most. This partnership between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan reflects strong brotherly ties and shared efforts to ease the hardships of those facing tough times.
