A customer has raised concerns over what they claim to be a misleading promise made by Changan Pakistan during the purchase of their vehicle. The individual, who booked a Changan Oshan X7 Comfort Variant on April 4th, alleges that they were assured maintenance vouchers worth Rs. 250,000 at the time of booking—a commitment that has since gone unfulfilled.
According to the customer, the assurance regarding the vouchers was confirmed both through the authorized dealership and Changan Pakistan’s official helpline before making the full payment. The vouchers, meant for periodic maintenance, were presented as an incentive for the purchase and played a key role in the decision to buy the vehicle.
However, after the booking was completed and payment was made, the customer was informed that the maintenance vouchers could not be included in the official booking documentation. The reasoning provided was that if the vehicle delivery took place within a month, the vouchers would not apply. If delayed, the vouchers would be provided—an explanation the customer finds contradictory to the original promise.
The customer expressed disappointment and frustration over the experience, stating that such inconsistencies damage trust and reflect poorly on the brand’s commitment to customer satisfaction. They have called on Changan Pakistan to investigate the matter and honor the commitment made during the booking process.
At the time of reporting, there has been no official statement from Changan Pakistan regarding the claim. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of transparent communication and proper documentation in the automotive sales industry.
