Dubai bank announces instalment deferment facility for customers hit by system glitch

In line with its commitment to its valued customers, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has deferred the July installments of all customers whose installments could not be deducted on time last month in June during the system upgrade.
This measure has been taken keeping customers’ financial well-being in mind and ensures that the customers are not faced with a situation where they have to pay for the uncollected June installment and another installment in the month of July.
DIB hopes that this initiative will address any immediate financial concerns and support the affected customers in better managing their cashflows.
The instalment payment deferment is being done without any charge and will have no negative impact on the customers’ credit score.
The bank has already informed all the impacted customers via individual direct communication of the deferment facility related to their instalment.
DIB remains dedicated to delivering exceptional financial services and supporting its customers at all times.
