Dusty winds to continue across UAE until Monday, predicts NCM

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted that dusty winds with a maximum speed of 40 km/h will affect different parts of the country from Friday until next Monday.
These winds are the result of the country being affected by the extension of a shallow air depression from the east, accompanied by an air high extension in the upper atmosphere.
The Friday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with low clouds appearing on the east coast in the morning. Some cumulus clouds may form in the east and south in the afternoon, while it will be humid at night and on Saturday morning along some coastal areas.
The winds will be light to moderate, and sometimes active and dusty, southeasterly to easterly, and then become northwesterly, with a speed of 10 to 25 up to 40 km/h. The sea in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman will be light.
NCM has also indicated that the Saturday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with low clouds appearing on the eastern coast in the morning and humid at night and on Sunday morning.
There is a possibility of light fog forming on some coastal areas, and the winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active and dusty, with a speed of 10 to 25 up to 40 km/h. The sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and light to medium in the Sea of Oman.
The NCM for Sunday and Monday indicates a clear to partly cloudy sky, with the potential for low clouds on the east coast in the morning. Temperatures are expected to gradually decrease in some coastal and western regions, while remaining relatively stable in the north and south.
Humidity levels are anticipated to be high at night and Monday morning, with the possibility of fog or light fog forming in some coastal and inland areas.
The winds are predominantly southwest to northwest, with speeds ranging from light to moderate.
They are occasionally active, dusty, and reach speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, with occasional gusts up to 40 km/h. The sea is characterised by light to medium waves, with occasional turbulence at night in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
