Emirates Airline plans to open a large cargo hub at Karachi Airport to meet the rising demand for cargo services. The airline has requested 90,000 square feet of space at the airport’s cargo terminal to expand its operations.
Emirates already dominates Karachi’s cargo business, transporting more than 27,000 tons in 2024, far surpassing Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which handled only 2,000 tons during the same period.
